(Amman, Jordan – XX June, 2024): Jordan Source, a program under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, has entered a strategic partnership with Gateway Jordan, a prominent German intermediary, to bolster collaboration and spur growth in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sectors of both nations. This partnership was formalized with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the periphery of the first edition of the European Union-Jordanian Business Forum (EUJBF).

Signed by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, His Excellency Ahmad Hanandeh, and the CEO of Gateway Jordan, Oliver Gebert, this MoU aims to facilitate collaboration between the ICT industries of Jordan and Germany, encouraging cooperation and attracting German businesses interested in establishing operations in Jordan.

This agreement primarily focuses on promoting Jordan's ICT sector in Germany, identifying prospective investors, and facilitating delegation visits between the two nations. Additionally, the collaboration will support Jordanian companies in their efforts to expand into Europe and secure financing for their business endeavors.

Commenting on the occasion, HE Ahmad Hanandeh said, "Jordan Source was established with the goal of forging international partnerships that create education, employment, and investment opportunities. Collaborating with Gateway Jordan marks a significant milestone in our efforts to drive growth and innovation within Jordan's ICT sector.  Together, we aspire to cultivate an environment conducive to economic growth and employment opportunities for the Kingdom."
