December 17, 2025 Jordan and BIGO Strengthen Strategic Partnership to Drive Digital Innovation and Cross-Border Collaboration

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE) reaffirmed today the Kingdom of Jordan’s strong and ongoing partnership with BIGO Technology, underscoring a shared vision for advancing digital innovation, talent development, and regional collaboration.

The reaffirmation came on the sidelines of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s official visit to Singapore, during which His Excellency Eng. Sami Smeirat, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, met with BIGO’s leadership team to discuss the next phase of cooperation. The meeting highlighted the depth and continuity of this trusted relationship — one that has already yielded tangible outcomes and positioned Jordan as a regional hub for digital growth.

BIGO, which operates offices in Amman and Irbid, has become an integral part of Jordan’s fast-evolving digital ecosystem. Through its local operations, BIGO employs a growing number of Jordanian professionals and serves as a key operations center supporting multiple regions across the Middle East and North Africa. This presence reflects Jordan’s appeal as a destination for digital investment and innovation-driven employment.

The partnership now enters an exciting new phase through the BIGO Incubation program 2026 roadmap . The initiative aims to connect Singaporean technology companies with Jordan’s digital economy, facilitating knowledge exchange, co-innovation, and investment opportunities.

Delivered in collaboration with Jordan Source and the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), the initiative will feature a series of incubation activities, including mentorship programs, ecosystem immersion sessions, and collaborative digital campaigns.

Commenting on the partnership, Eng. Sami Smeirat, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, stated:

“BIGO’s long-standing engagement in Jordan reflects the success of our national strategy to create a vibrant, globally connected digital ecosystem.

This partnership continues to open new doors for our youth, strengthen our innovation capacity, and enhance Jordan’s role as a bridge for digital collaboration between the Middle East and Asia.”

The collaboration between MoDEE and BIGO has already delivered notable outcomes, including the success of Klean Kinetics, a tech company that emerged from earlier engagement phases and continues to grow through Jordan’s innovation ecosystem.

Looking ahead, Jordan Source will work closely with BIGO to expand this impact through enhanced digital outreach, global webinars, and ecosystem familiarization programs designed to attract more international technology companies to explore Jordan as their regional base.

This reaffirmed partnership reflects Jordan’s enduring commitment to fostering global cooperation, promoting digital investment, and building the talent base that will power the nation’s digital future.
